This event has been listed on the American Business Associaton's Top 100 Events in North America for several years. The Festival has over 100 events that take place throughout the Okanagan.

The Penticton Highland Games takes place in July of each year at Kings Park. Enjoy a free celtic concert to close the days events. Competitions include: piping and drumming, heavy events, highland dancing, stock dog trials and clan gathering.

Internationally recognized the regatta includes water, land, and air events for the whole family. The first Kelowna Regatta was held in 1906 on Okanagan Lake. Eventually the event became known as the Kelowna International Regatta. The Lady of the Lake is crowned at the beauty pageant, there's a parade, and of course, the aquatic show.
